I'm not particularly fond of the epilogue, mainly because some of the kids' jobs don't really make any sense. (e.g., Sora becoming a fashion designer, which would've made more sense as Mimi's future career and Yamato, who appeared to be pursuing music, becoming an astronaut, which was probably the most jarring.) It probably wouldn't have been so bad had there been some lead up to these seemingly out of place career choices, but...
