woah new dA sucks hard, huh?

Hey, so... I'm super late saying this, but I really don't like the new layout at all and find it next to impossible to navigate. I've been inactive here for a long time anyway, but this is the final push to get me running out the door. Been putting off making this journal for a while now, because I felt like I owed a few people a more formal goodbye. I had some good friends here who never really migrated to other platforms and I'll miss you folks a lot. But the fact is that I just can't see myself wrapping my head around the way deviantART is now, so this is a farewell from me. You can still find me on twitter, tumblr, AO3, etc if you want to keep up with me. But tbh, I don't post much about the series y'all followed me for here any more, so I'll totally understand if you'd rather we tip our hats and part ways. I hope I do cross paths with some of the friends I made here further down the line on other platforms though. Wishing you all the best and take care!

I was tagged by 
a little while back, but I've been away so I didn't see it until now. Sorry about that. 
Not doing the 13 facts about yourself bit, because I did this one quite recently and there's not that much to say about me. But I'll fill in YamchaFan's questions and anyone who wants can take this from me as well.
1) Which was your very first anime?
Pokemon, because I'm a mainstream loser like that. I mean, I'd probably seen bits of anime like Sailor Moon or DBZ before that? But Pokemon was the first anime I actually watched for myself as opposed to just seeing it on TV at someone else's house.
2) Which was the very first video game you remember?
It's hard to say, but it was probably one of the early Sonic games or Ecco 2: The Tides of Time. The MegaDrive was my first console, so it makes sense for it to be something I had for that.
3) What is your opinions of the original Dragon Ball anime?
Never seen it, so I don't have an opinion.
4) Which is your favourite animal of all time?
It's gotta be cats. Though I love manatees and herons as well.
5) Do you play the Yu-Gi-Oh! Card Game?
Not any more, but I did a bit back when I was more actively into the series. I stopped playing sometime after the GX era, because I couldn't keep up with the changes they made for 5d's and beyond.
6) Simpsons or Family Guy?
Probably Simpsons, but I don't really watch either. Simpsons is definitely much funnier from what I have seen of them both though.
7) Are you an art person, an MMD person or a fanfic person?
Easily a fanfic person. Writing comes much more naturally to me and I use it to relax. Whereas I haven't actually drawn anything in a long time (can't bring myself to feel good about drawing any more) and I've never made an MMD.
8) What is your favourite dog or cat breed?
I like mix breeds for both, just to be a hipster. But we did take in a stray maine coon cat a few years back and I've gotta say that she has the best temperament of any cat we've ever had, so I'm fond of maine coons because of that.
9) Which one of the Dragon Ball Series is your favourite? or if a Yu-Gi-Oh! Fan instead of a DB fan, which one is your favourite?
Can't answer for Dragonball, but for Yu-Gi-Oh my favourite is the recent DSoD movie, which concluded the series exactly how I wanted and left me feeling a lot more satisfied than the ending to either the DM anime or manga did. Not counting movies, I'd have to say that DM is the series that has stuck with me the longest, even if I was more actively into the GX fandom back in the day.
10) Favourite Pokemon Anime character (human or Pokemon)?
My favourite Pokemon is Dusknoir. I don't have a favourite human character as such, but I liked Misty in the anime, Brendan out of the characters you play as and Lillie & Gladion out of the supporting cast in the games.
11) What was your first job?
Charity shop volunteer. Though if you only count paid work then it was a waitress. The volunteering was fun, the waitressing was not.
12) What pet would you like to own if you chose ANY animal from ANY time?
I'd probably stick with cats, because they're the animal I'm best prepared to look after.
13) Who is your oldest OC out of ANY fandom?
Hmm... probably my old Sonic OC, Lover the Cat. I didn't post much about her online though, because by the time I started using the Internet I'd already moved on from her to make other OCs. You can find some redraws of her that I did in my gallery, but the original and terrible art of her is most likely hidden safely in a box in the attic.
