Insensitive PressThere were times when Clive really loathed being a reporter.

The whole affair was necessary though, as it was the only way he could ever hope to find information upon the explosion that had killed his parents many years earlier, but certain things he had to report were very dull for him.

Logical Reasoning versus a...Dimitri was the sort of person whose alarm clock never rang.

The reason for that being because he always managed to wake up sometime before the alarm sounded to turn it off. He told himself that it was because he hated the noise, but in truth he'd always been a light sleeper. His mind was too full of all sorts of advancements that could be made to the scientific community for it to ever really shut down enough for him to sleep. Claire said he should try harder or else he'll end up with terrible grey bags around his eyes before he was thirty.

Claire was always saying things like that; she really cared for the well being of those around her.
Highest PraiseLuke had to admit that he was nervous.

He really had no reason to be nervous, since he'd played the violin probably hundreds of times before. He knew that he could do it. But… as he watched those small-but-kind eyes of the professor looking over at him he felt a lump build up in the back of his throat.

Within Luke, there had at some point developed this inner need to impress Layton. He had no idea why, but after everything the man had done for him he wanted to prove that he was capable of being his apprentice. Be that by following him on adventures, solving puzzles or… playing the violin.

Awww, he looks more interested in his tea than the newspaper. The size of it and all the colour photos make me think it's some kind of scandal rag, so I don't know why he has it anyway--gentlemen don't read the tabloids! XD It must be to do with a puzzle. (Or maybe he wants to see what the article on Don Paolo is =P)

He does all the puzzles in ALL the newspapers. Even the Sun. =P But yeah, I think it's more to do with what Don's done. Not that he seems to be reading that story at the moment. XD
